Greetings from 36,000 Feet
From onboard United flight #365, the Premier Custom Travel crew looks ahead to what’s in store this week at the annual CLIA cruise3sixty conference.
As I type this, we’re over half-way to Vancouver and on our way to the conference. There are several families onboard sporting their mouse ears and headed to the Disney Wonder for an awesome Alaskan cruise. Even though all of us have been on the Magic, we’re still jealous.
We’re hoping to shoot some video later today before the Magic departs Canada Place. The cruise3sixty conference doesn’t officially start until Wednesday, so until then, we’ll be touring the beautiful city of Vancouver and shooting some pictures and video as well.
On Wednesday, the five-day convention kicks off with lots of classroom training, followed by two days of trade shows, three breakfast general sessions with guest speakers and tons of cruise info, updates from all 26 of the CLIA cruise lines, plus ship tours, the Hall of Fame dinner and so much more. One thing we’re really looking forward to is a special performance by Broadway & TV star Megan Hilty at the Hall of Fame dinner. Fans of the Great White Way will know her from “Wicked” and “9 to 5” while TV watchers will remember her as Ivy on NBC’s “Smash.”
If you’re not already doing it, be sure to follow us on Twitter at @CustomTravels and also make sure you LIKE our Facebook page so you’ll be notified when we post new updates. All four of us will be reporting back with cruise line updates, tours of some awesome ships and a whole lot more.
