Cruise360 Day 4 Recap

We’ve come to the end of the second official day of Cruise360 2017 and our fourth day overall in beautiful Fort Lauderdale. Here’s a look at today’s highlights.

This morning we attended more cruise line showcases, including presentations from Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Cruises, Cunard, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises & Seabourn.

We also attended our first of three General Sessions. Today’s included a tasty lunch and some great info.

The General Session I Keynote was delivered by Arnold Donald, President & CEO, Carnival Corporation & plc. That was followed by “The Presidents Panel: A Panoramic View” which brought together four of the top executives in the cruise industry with each brand president giving an inside look into the current and future state of the cruise landscape and the role the travel agent community plays in the growth of the industry.

The panel featured Christine Duffy, President, Carnival Cruise Line; Andy Stuart, President and CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line; Roberto Fusaro, President, MSC Cruises USA; and Larry Pimentel, President & CEO, Azamara Club Cruises.

After the general session, we spent the rest of the afternoon earning yet another CLIA Certification. This one is called “Specialty and Boutique Cruise Certification.”

Our evening was spent meeting with an owner/executive from one of our luxury cruise partners. We can’t say much about this meeting right now, but we are working on a very cool cruise that we hope to be able to announce in the not too distant future. Stay tuned!

Tomorrow, we will spend the morning in workshops with some non-cruise suppliers, attend our second General Session and the always great trade show.
