Cruise360: What Is It & Why Do We Attend?
Cruise360 begins next week and Premier Custom Travel will be providing live coverage throughout our various social media channels. But what exactly is Cruise360 – and why do we make the journey to this convention each year?
If there’s one event to attend each year, it is CLIA Cruise360! Only Cruise360 gives us highly rated professional development, multiple networking events, ship inspections and an in-depth view of current cruise and travel industry trends. As the largest and only official conference of the cruise industry, Cruise360 brings together travel professionals, cruise line representatives, ports & destinations, industry suppliers and CLIA preferred partners for a truly panoramic view of the cruise industry.
You may have seen CLIA listed on our website or the CLIA certifications our agents have achieved. But what exactly is CLIA? Established in 1975, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is the world’s largest cruise industry trade association, providing a unified voice and leading authority of the global cruise community. CLIA supports policies and practices that foster a safe, secure, healthy and sustainable cruise ship environment and is dedicated to promoting the cruise travel experience.
During our week in Florida, we’ll interact with executives from all levels of the cruise industry and suppliers from both inside and outside the world of cruising. We’ll tour three incredible ships, attend general sessions with keynote addresses from three CEOs of major cruise lines, get product updates from almost 30 of our cruise line partners and so much more. It’s a whirlwind week that leaves us breathless but also inspired to be a part of this amazing industry.
