Sandals & CMT’s Cody Alan Host Second “Story Behind the Songs” Event

Following the success of the first Story Behind the Songs event, Sandals Resorts International is excited to announce performances by Grammy-nominated and ACM Award-winning chart-toppers, Eli Young Band, and breakout singer/songwriter, Tucker Beathard, for the second installment of Story Behind the Songs concert series.

Located in Nassau, Bahamas, award-winning CMT Radio personality Cody Alan will host the event from December 8-11 at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island in partnership with Big Machine Label Group as guests enjoy intimate beachside performances and hear about inspiration behind the music and memories from the road. Fans will also have a chance to meet both artists and attend the VIP LIV+ Official Wrap Party.

Part of Sandals Resorts International’s new LIV+ Events program, a series of exclusive events to enhance guests’ Luxury Included® Vacation experience, Story Behind the Songs is an intimate concert series that showcases acoustic sets from top artists. Proceeds from the initiative continue to aid the Sandals Foundation in its efforts to improve lives in the Caribbean, and with the holiday season around the corner, Story Behind The Song has committed this event to the Foundation’s Holiday Treat efforts which will benefit children most impacted by Hurricane Matthew.

The first 25 couples to book their trip to Story Behind the Songs at Sandals Royal Bahamian will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase a special VIP LIV+ Package for $125 per person, which includes preferred seating, access to the VIP meet and greet, limited edition event t-shirt and more. Following this exclusive offer, Sandals’ guests can choose to book the standard add-on LIV+ Package to the Story Behind the Songs event for $45 per person and receive special access to the VIP LIV+ Official Wrap Party with the artists, limited edition event t-shirt and more. All Sandals Resorts guests who book a Luxury Included® Vacation during the event dates will enjoy access to the concert.

CMT’s Cody Alan also gave country fans the opportunity to enter to win a special VIP Package to Story Behind The Songs through his popular syndicated country radio shows CMT After MidNite with Cody Alan, CMT All Access with Cody Alan, and CMTRadio Live with Cody Alan.
