Cruise360 Recap: Day One

Basic RGB

The first day of Cruise360 2016 is in the books — here is our summary of what happened today.

regentsevenseasmariner-008We spent most of today onboard the beautiful Seven Seas Mariner, one of the ships in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet. The ship goes all over the world but this week she is headed to Anchorage by way of Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and the inside passage. The world’s first all-suite, all-balcony ship, Seven Seas Mariner features four gourmet restaurants with open seating, generous amenities and a welcomed spaciousness. Catering to only 700 guests, her staff-to-guest ratio of 1 to 1.6 ensures the absolute highest level of personal service. We’re not fans of the term “all-inclusive” but this ship and its cruises are as close as you can get. We were blown away and enjoyed every minute onboard.

You can check out our Seven Seas Mariner Tour photo album on Facebook for photos from our tour. We also recorded several Facebook Live posts which can also be found on the Premier Custom Travel Facebook page. We intended to record these while on the ship but getting a cell signal behind steel proved to be difficult. Hopefully we’ll have better luck later in the week.

IMG_7085This afternoon we attended a Social Media class for travel agents. There were some great tips and strategies for getting a company’s message out to potential customers and the do’s and don’ts of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and more.

Tomorrow will be a non-stop day, with the first of three General Sessions, meetings with a bunch of cruise lines and one of our favorite events each year – the Hall of Fame Dinner & Gala. As always, you can see all of our updates from Facebook, Twitter and more in one place: www.premiercustomtravel.com/cruise360.

Good night from beautiful Vancouver.
