A few months ago, we announced the opening of the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom® Park at Walt Disney World® Resort. And today, we’re excited to give you a closer look at the details of this exciting new culinary offering.

Located just steps from the legendary Jungle Cruise attraction, the new table-service restaurant is staffed by the wisecracking crew of the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Diners are seated in one of three unique dining rooms, including the crew’s Mess Hall; The S.E.A. Room, a secret meeting room for the Society of Explorers and Adventurers that was once hidden behind a bookcase; and the Falls Family Parlor, formerly occupied by the infamous jungle explorer Dr. Albert Falls. Fans of the popular attraction may remember him as the namesake of The Jungle Cruise’s Schweitzer Falls.

The theming and storyline of the restaurant is brought to life by the details found in each room, which are stocked with treasure troves of mementos that Falls and other adventurers collected over years of exploration. Guests may even spot artifacts that have made their way over from the former Adventurer’s Club at Pleasure Island (now Disney Springs).

The adventurous menu features bold and flavorful tastes inspired by the exotic flavors of the rivers traveled on the Jungle Cruise. You can try head-on shrimp or sustainable fish collar, or stick with delicious, familiar tastes such as a grilled steak, pork tenderloin or chicken breast.

The Disney Dining Plan will be accepted at Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. Reservations are not currently offered. Please visit the restaurant podium for availability.
