cruise3sixty Wrap-up: Day Six

It may be Sunday and it certainly was a fun day, but it was also a very busy day at cruise3sixty.

We started the day as we have pretty much every day this week with an educational seminar.

Today’s seminar was all about culinary cruising. It covered wine cruises, beer cruises and places all over the world where you can cruise and enjoy amazing food both on and off the ship.

After class, it was time for today’s ship inspection, a visit onboard the Carnival Conquest. We enjoyed a self-guided tour of the ship and lunch in the Monet dining room, including the world-famous Carnival signature dessert – warm chocolate melting cake.

After lunch, our waiters did their traditional post-meal entertainment that Carnival is famous for – and our own Jennifer Grum even got into the act! You can see all the photos from our ship tour in our Carnival Conquest photo album.

After the ship inspection, we were lucky enough to sit down for a nice chat with Charlie Sylvia, the new CLIA Vice President of Member Services. We discussed the history of this organization and this conference and where we’d like to see it head in the future.

Tomorrow morning we will tour our final ship — Celebrity Equinox — and then head back to Houston on an evening flight.
