We enjoyed the shows on the Westerdam during the “Premier Custom Travel Wine Cruise” a few years back. We may have to sail her again or hop onboard the Eurodam to check out these new presentations.

New Stage Shows on ms Eurodam and ms Westerdam
Highlights include five new musicals and dazzling LED backdrop

Holland America Line continues to revolutionize its entertainment programming with the introduction of five new productions featuring exciting new stage technology on ms Eurodam and ms Westerdam. The cruise line has been working with New York-based production company RWS & Associates for the first time to develop the new shows that span all genres of music.

The new shows are:

  • “Playback”, a visually stimulating look at the creation of sound that samples various genres and era of pop and rock music.
  • “Sound Stage”, which brings a movie studio lot to life both on stage and screen. Guests see behind the scenes of several movie shoots from romantic comedies and Bollywood classic musicals to action films.
  • “Ever After”, a colorful rock fairytale with a contemporary score.
  • “All for Love — the Concert”, where romance takes center stage for an evening of dynamic vocals featuring the music of Sting, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Peter Gabriel, Andrea Bocelli and more.
  • “Tableux”, which presents a magical night in a museum as popular works of art explode off the walls and come to life through song and dance.

Already among the top-rated activities for guests sailing on the two ships, each new show incorporates dazzling new visual effects on nine high-resolution LED panels installed in the main showroom.

Each show is performed up to three times per evening to accommodate As You Wish Dining, Holland America Line’s flexible dining program where guests can select a traditional preset seating and dining time or a flexible open schedule in the main dining room.
