Summer Fun in Frontierland at Disneyland Park
This summer you can round up some fun and have a boot-stompin’ time in Frontierland at Disneyland Park.
Beginning July 18, 2014, fans of country music and the ABC hit show “Nashville” will enjoy all-new entertainment as Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree plays host to “The Music of Nashville.” Popular local country band, The Kelly Rae band, will headline this concert experience, performing original tunes from the television show along with some of your favorites off the country music charts. Fans of the show can test their knowledge with trivia and hear behind-the-scenes stories about the creation of the show’s music. “The Music of Nashville” takes place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday this summer.
While you are at Big Thunder Ranch, you can chow down on an all-you-care-to-eat cowboy-style feast complete with toe-tappin’ country music and down-home banter at Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue. This finger-lickin’ family-style meal features barbecue chicken, ribs, coleslaw, corn bread, ranch beans and more! Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue is open for lunch and dinner. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
Right around the corner from Big Thunder Ranch, is the wildest ride in the wilderness. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is back and better than ever before with a few new surprises along the way. You can climb aboard this classic Disney attraction as it sets off on a journey through rugged bedrock and inside an abandoned mine shaft.
