What’s Ahead: Previewing cruise3sixty Day 3

Today we have another busy day, including the first of three General Sessions. Here’s a sneak preview:

The morning begins with General Session I. Here’s what will be featured:

  • Greater Ft. Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau Welcome  with Nick Grossman & Steve Cernak
  • What’s New at CLIA
  • “The Happiness Factor for Business & Personal Success” – Keynote Address from Hall of Fame Speaker Kathleen Passanisi
  • “Future Cruise” – Cruise line CEO panel with representatives from Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises and Royal Caribbean International.

After the general session, we head back into the CLIA classrooms for a session on niche markets in the travel industry.

After class, we’re off to lunch with our friends from Carnival Cruise Lines. We’re looking forward to seeing some of our friends from the only cruise line with two ships based permanently in Texas.

This afternoon, it’s the first day of the CLIA Trade Show. This is our chance to interact with hundreds of our vendors, including all the cruise lines, major hotels worldwide, convention and visitors bureaus from all the top destinations and so much more. The trade show is one of the major highlights of the convention each year — although we typically need another suitcase to bring home all the brochures and info we receive there.

After the trade show, it’s back into the classroom for a session entitled “Reinvent Your Agency in One Hour.” This should be interesting stuff.

Tonight, it’s the official cruise3sixty Welcome Reception.
